Refund policy

14 days, and no reason needed.

A teacher should never have to argue with a software company about $6.99. This page is deliberately short so there is nothing to interpret.

One line

Email hi@gameboardly.com within 14 days of the charge and we refund it in full. No form, no phone call, no "retention specialist".

What is refundable

The current billing period of a Teacher or Department subscription, and any duplicate or accidental charge. If you cancelled but were charged a renewal, that renewal is refundable too.

What is not refundable

Nothing is excluded by policy. In practice we may ask a first-time buyer why it did not work for the class, because that is how the product gets better — asking is not a condition of the refund.

How to ask

One email to hi@gameboardly.com, from the address on the account, with the word "refund" somewhere in it. That is the whole process.

How long it takes

We reply the same working day and issue the refund in Stripe. Your bank then takes 5–10 business days to show it. We will tell you the refund ID so you can chase the bank with it if needed.

Cancelling instead of refunding

Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps your access to the end of the paid period. Do that from the account page, or ask us and we will do it for you.

If you are in the EU or UK

You have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the day of purchase. Using the service inside that window does not remove it: if you ask during those 14 days, you get the refund.

If a lesson broke

If the site failed during a class, tell us — an outage is not the teacher's fault. We refund that month whether or not the 14-day window is still open.

How to reach us

hi@gameboardly.com — a person answers, usually the same day. See also the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
